This is the most passionate and wonderful rescue we have ever worked with. We got a group together and helped horses. Jill is a great leader and animal lover, and might I say fearless bad ass! Check out her Instagram @bellavitarescue

I don't know how this rescue can do what she does. I know her donations are low, but yet we see her at least 3 times a week at our Veterinarian office. She is so compassionate about her rescue dogs. She fosters many of them and they are fed home made foods. I adopted a senior from Bella Vita and he is such a perfect little guy. I hope people see this review and go donate to Bella Vita Rescue. They are @bellavitarescue on Instagram and they deserve support for everything they do. I wish I could give 100 stars!

I volunteer for Jill as her driver, and her dogs are just the best. She makes sure they are going to good homes, and is very picky with who she chooses to home her dogs with. She loves these dogs with her whole heart and I cannot think of anyone better in this profession.

I like to be out and about doing fun activities with my dog so when it was time to get a new dog, it was important that he be people and dog friendly and if he happened to already be trained, that would be a plus! Jill at Bella Vita rescued sweet Balto when he had been given 72 hours to live and was being held in the back medical room, where no potential adopters could see him. With no available fosters, he was sent to board and train and was fixed, with the help of generous donors. He was rescued from Kern County animal services and Jill brought him to LA County where I'm located. He was about 2 years old when I adopted Jim and he's 4 years old now. Every day that he's with me, is a happy day! Just as Jill stated in her description on Instagram, he is people and dog friendly and was already trained! I'm lucky to have him and I thank Bella Vita for saving him!

Bella Vita Rescue is truly a lifesaving organization that deserves the highest praise! They dedicate their time, heart, and resources to helping countless injured and neglected medical dogs - giving them the second chance they deserve. I personally experienced the incredible compassion and commitment of this rescue when they stepped in to help with a beautiful Pyrenees in urgent need. Thanks to Bella Vita Rescue’s tireless efforts, she was not only healed and cared for, but was flown on a private flight to the most amazing forever home, complete with her very own chef! None of this this woukd have been possible without their support, expertise, and determination to assure that every animal they touch finds safety, love, and happiness. Bella Vita Rescue goes above and beyond in every way, and the difference they make in both the lives of animals and the people who love them is immeasurable. This rescue is a genuine and deserve all the recognition for the incredible wrk they do!

Bella Vita rescue showed up for an adoption and meet the animals event at my husband’s workplace and we set up a meet and greet with Moby. We made the decision to take him home soon after we met him. He had been through a lot at that time and 6y later a vet told us he was shot in the leg with a metal pellet which was still in his little body. We were extremely happy to give Moby a home and love he deserved and that’s what he got for his seven years with us until he passed recently of various health related issues. Moby was gentle and sweet and kind. He loved snuggles, any kind of bread, and me - his mama. He has been through all major events in our lives including moving to a new country. We will forever be grateful because he came into our lives through Bella vita. Jill took great care of Moby and rehabilitated him. Her perseverance and will to rescue animals in need is admirable!

This is a FABULOUS organization. I found a Great Pyranees puppy mix on Adopt a Pet and inquired about it. Rose called me that night. We chatted about what kind of personality I was looking for etc.. Rose was so very kind. She sent me photos of all the puppies in the litter and told me a bit about their personalities. I wanted a “snuggler” and she suggested Polar Bear. My husband and I contemplated for about a week. Any questions I had during that time, Rose answered quickly and honestly. I knew from our conversations that she has a true love for all dogs and is dedicated to finding them good homes. We decided we would take the plunge Rose & Jill graciously offered to meet us half way. When we arrived, they had also brought Polar Bear’s Mama, Julia. We instantly fell in love with both of them and asked if we could adopt her too. We now have two incredible dogs in our life thanks to Jill and Rose. If you are considering adopting I HIGHLY recommend Bella Vita.
